Our Principal is David Alexander
an internationally respected respiratory non-clinical UK-registered toxicologist,
who retired from GlaxoSmithKline in 2001. He has 25 years experience developing
pharmaceuticals, including biologicals, and has specialising in respiratory
products for asthma, COPD and bronchitis. He has also five years experience
developing household and industrial products. He played a key role in the
development of several well-known and successfully marketed products for
respiratory and other diseases.
His experience covers:
- Project management from early research to full
development,
- Non-clinical strategy design,
- Initiation, conduct, monitoring of toxicology studies,
- Report compilation,
- Regulatory submissions,
- Impurities and extractives issues
- Regulatory authority, including the FDA, interface.
- Expert Inhalation toxicologist.
David was an expert toxicologist involved in both IPACTI and II international
consortia developing the ozone-friendly propellants, HFA134a and HFA 227ea.
In the field of inhaled biological products, David was involved with some
of the pioneering work in evaluating inhaled macromolecules prior to first
administration to man.
With numerous publications, lecturing and training courses to his name
and representation on many international forums, he can offer experience,
knowledge and international recognition.
